Discover the NEJA Difference

Home Away From Home

Lasting Friendships: Our close-knit environment fosters deep and enduring friendships that last a lifetime.

Holistic Development: We focus on helping students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically, preparing them to navigate life with confidence and resilience.

Rigorous Academics Tailored to Your Child

Personalized Learning: Every student learns differently; individualized learning plans help each student achieve their full potential.

Diverse Curriculum: In High School, students are challenged to think critically and excel academically through Honors, AP, and college-level courses. In the Lower School, students are placed in classes that match their academic level. Those who are more advanced may be moved up or receive individualized instruction to ensure they continue to grow and succeed.

Critical Skill Development: NEJA cultivates problem-solving, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills—essential for excelling in any field.

Strengthening Jewish Identity & Education

Emphasizes core values and principles to help guide students in an increasingly complex world.

Strengthens their sense of belonging, developing lifelong connections to the Jewish community and to their own emerging Jewish identity.

Studying Torah and Talmud, which encourages critical thinking, debate, and inquiry. This rigorous intellectual tradition prepares students for academic and professional challenges.

Embracing All Backgrounds

From secular to religious families, NEJA provides an inclusive environment where all students can explore and express their Jewish identity. No matter your level of observance, everyone belongs at NEJA.

The Mentorship Advantage

Strong Teacher-Student Relationships: Teachers foster trust, respect, and a sense of belonging in each student.

Guidance in Every Aspect of Life: Mentors guide academics, personal growth, and future planning, building student confidence to advocate for themselves and make informed decisions.

Real World Preparation

Leadership Opportunities: Students begin developing leadership skills as early as elementary school. For example, each Friday at our Oneg Shabbat, students in grades 4–6 gather, and one student delivers a Dvar Torah to the group. Leadership continues to grow through community service projects, clubs, student government and more.

Individualized College Counseling: One-on-one guidance to find the best-fit colleges and career paths.

Real-World Experience: Students gain career insights through internships, hands-on projects, and High School career workshops which include resume building, interview skills and professional development.

Recognition and Rewards: NEJA is frequently recognized with awards and scholarships, opening doors to top colleges.
