At NEJA, we integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a dynamic, hands-on learning experience.
Through project-based learning and interdisciplinary connections, middle and high school students explore topics such as engineering, design, coding, and robotics. Teachers guide them in applying real-world skills to real-world challenges, helping them develop critical thinking and collaboration abilities.
Within Engineering, students spend a full year identifying global or local problems and developing tech-based solutions. They follow the process from ideation to creation, building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)—a functional prototype—and presenting it to classmates, teachers, and at conventions. Projects have included everything from UX/UI-designed apps, robots, and products that gather and analyze user data.
Students not only build their inventions but also learn how to pitch them to potential users and investors, blending STEM with entrepreneurship. Their final presentations reflect months of creativity, feedback, and refinement—and showcase their readiness to make a real impact in the world.
