early childhood center
Our Early Childhood Center for children ages two to five sets the stage for a lifetime of learning and achievement. The developmentally appropriate Judaic and General Studies curriculum are enriched with art and music, learning centers, storytelling, creative play, and programming with the other grades.
A Warm, Caring, Nurturing Environment
general studies
Through exploration and play, our students learn the beginnings of language, literacy, mathematics and science in a nurturing and supportive environment while developing their own creativity.
judaic curriculum
Through interactive learning, projects, and singing, our students learn about the weekly parsha, daily prayers, Shabbat and holidays, engendering in our students a love of Torah, Judaism, and Eretz Yisrael.
Hebrew Language
We consider it important that Hebrew language (Ivrit) be introduced to our students as they begin their schooling. Our Hebrew Language teacher and Israeli emissaries introduce them to the beginnings of Ivrit through conversation, Israel dance, songs and projects.
playtime
Students learn through play and collaboration during circle time, center time and at the Book Nook. Outdoor exploration and nature projects are student favorites.
Music and Art
Students expand their horizons, developing their talents and creativity in music and art, both in daily classrooms and in specialty classes.
Kindergarten Readiness
The ECC and Kindergarten teachers collaborate to ensure a smooth transition from ECC to Kindergarten fostering age-appropriate growth in social, emotional and academic skills.
