Welcome

Mrs. Eisenman has been an educational leader for the past 21 years, serving first as Judaics Principal of Beth Tfiloh High School in Baltimore, then at Menahelet of Midreshet Shalhevet in the Five Towns for ten years. Most recently, Mrs. Eisenman served as Principal of the Middle School and High School at Bruriah in Elizabeth.

Mrs. Eisenman earned her BA in English Literature from Stern College for Women and her law degree from NYU School of Law. Following a successful 13-year career in law, she obtained an MA in Judaic Studies, with an emphasis on medieval Jewish philosophy, and an MS in Educational Administration, both from Baltimore Hebrew University. She is currently working toward her EdD in Jewish Educational Leadership and Innovation at Azrieli Graduate School of Education.

We set out with a bold mandate – find a candidate that would best align with our NEJA school community and aspirations. We sought a leader with experience driving schoolwide excellence in academics, with a track record of effective and efficient management of resources and robust implementation of supportive and nurturing professional development programs, and with a vision to bring teams together around a shared vision and mission. We sought a leader who would serve as a role model for the values, passions, and ideals that anchor our Torah communities. Mrs. Eisenman is all of these things. She is passionate and principled, committed to building community and acting with a holistic vision of education. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are confident that she can help lead NEJA forward – actualizing our mission to provide excellence in Judaic and General education and giving our students the tools to be engaged members of society and the Jewish people.
